Meta Dia – Daylight – VideoMeta Dia – Daylight – Video
Lyrics:
Leaders using the name of Jah
Spiritual Ah Gangsta
Rich mans war poor mans debt
We can’t take it anymore
Ohh yeah
We nah deal with those Spiritual Gangsta
Spiritual leaders
Dem ah using the name of God
Ohh we go chant dem down
Chant dem down
Nothing to fear nothing to worry
Bout we go chant dem down
Eyyy
See the politicians try trick we
They wanna keep us hungry but
The Rastaman will stand up and fight
For a better day eh
See the political strategy
They wanna take I Country
The Rastaman will stand up and fight
For a better day eh
Soon they will truth will reveal
And they light will stand
To conquer this battlefield
In this Yah time
Consciousness is like day light, day light
We do not seek your political power
And titles oppressor
We go chant dem down
For so long devil invading
I and I ah Fathers land
We the people of Jacob
Wake up now
See dem ah telling us lies
Oh yeah
See dem don’t know right from wrong yo
Dem ah political, spiritual gangsta
See the politicians try trick we
They wanna keep us hungry but
The Rastaman will stand up and fight
For a better day eh
See the political strategy
They wanna take I Country but
The Rastaman will stand up and fight
For a better day eh
Dem youths from the streets ah bawl
Their hands on the trigger
And their dreams are getting higher
Like never before
Dem ah galang like they don’t know us
We know wah gwan cause
We go the answer
Uh
Dem ah galang like they don’t know us
But the children will rise yo
See the politicians try trick we
They wanna keep us hungry but
The Rastaman will stand up and fight
For a better day eh
See the political strategy
They wanna take I Country but
The Rastaman will stand up and fight
For a better day eh
They call them pirate souls
The Somalis can’t take it anymore
They call us fugitives but
We have to run from the oppression
Why Dem ah galang like they don’t know us
We know wah ah gwan cause
We got the answer
Why Dem ah galang like they don’t know us
We know wah ah gwan cause
We have the answer ehh
We the people of Jacob
Wake up now
Dem ah telling us lies
Oh oh
They don’t know what is
right from wrong yall
They call us immigrants
Take a look back at your
Forefathers
See the politicians try trick we
They wanna keep us hungry but
The Rastaman will stand up and fight
For a better day
They call them Spiritual Leaders
But their hands are dirty with bribes
From Politicians
We believers Sons of Believers
We don’t have no one to rely on
But God
Oh oh
