Povestea Mahom Dub începe în anul 1999 când Mathias îl întâlnește pe Joris și formează alături de acesta o trupă cu profil reggae. După un scurt timp, cei doi se hotărăsc să schimbe obiectivul proiectului lor, așa că de acum înainte se vor axa pe producția de muzică dub cu ajutorul căreia vor răspândi în lume iubirea lor pentru stilurile reggae și electro.
Primul eveniment la care au luat parte s-a desfășurat în anul 2006 și pentru că acesta a ieșit foarte bine, devine considerat de cei doi prieteni adevăratul moment în care a luat naștere conceptul Mahom Dub.
Grupul se transformă în 2008, moment în care inginerul de sunet Antoine se alătură proiectului. Munca acestuia dezvoltă o nouă dimensiune din punct de vedere al sound-ului pentru Mahom Dub.
Trupa începe acum să susțină show după show și astfel trio-ul francez începe să-și impună stilul propriu pe scena muzicii dub caracterizat de Riddim-uri picante şi efecte speciale redate de diferite instrumente.
Piesele create de către Mahom Dub conțin influențe roots, ethno și electro și sunt inspirate în mod direct de către mediul înconjurător și natură. Acestea au rolul de a-i hipnotiza pe fani și de a-i face să danseze ca și teleghidați timp de mai multe ore.
În anul 2011 a fost lansat materialul de debut numit Underground Dubwise la casa de discuri Original Dub Gathering ce încă poate fi download-at gratuit de aici. De asemenea, au mai apărut pe compilațiile Dub Tentacles Records vol 3 (aprilie 2011) şi Cinco Ciclos De Lluvia Girando (iunie 2012) alături de alți colegi de breaslă precum Panda Dub, Dawa Hifi sau Weeding Dub. Piesele prezente pe cele două materiale se numesc Darker, Stronger, Dubber şi respectiv Que Pedo Guey cu NK.

Pentru luna iulie a lui 2012 Mahom Dub a pregătit fanilor single-urile Bamba şi Rootsman Corner alături de Daba Makourejah.

Cei trei membri Mahom Dub se declară ca fiind niște persoane joviale, iar pentru ei prioritatea numărul unu în cadrul susținerii vreunui eveniment este aceea de a se distra și totodată de a-i face și pe cei din jur să se distreze… evident călăuziți în boxe de muzică dub.

The Mahom Dub story starts in 1999 when Mathias meets Joris and create together a reggae based band. After a short while, the two guys decide to change the purpose of their project, so starting that point they focused on the production of dub music so as to spread in the world their love for both reggae and electro.
The first event they participated to took place in 2006 and because it went very well, it was considered by the two friends as the real moment the concept of Mahom Dub was born.
The group changes it’s form in 2008 at the moment when the sound engineer Antoine becomes part of the project. His work leads to a new dimension as far as the sound is concerned for Mahom Dub.
The band starts to perform show after show and thus the french trio begins to impose their own style on the dub scene, a style charcaterised by spicy Riddims and special effects by different instruments.
The tracks created by Mahom Dub contain roots, ethno and electro influences and are directly inspired by the natural environment. These have the role of hypnotising the fans and making them dance as if they were radiocontrolled for many hours.
In 2011 the debut record called Underground Dubwise was released on Original Dub Gathering record label and it is still available for free download here.
